Secret Baby Scandal is the final book in the Bayou Billionaires series by Joanne Rock. I have not read any of the others books, but at least this one was quite good, I mean it has an interesting plot that was why I read it in first place.

Both main characters have such a good relation, they "hate" each other but it seems it did not stop them from ... a one night stand. Lots of things can happen in those kinds of nights, and that is the plot, it is about how their relation goes from hate to love, the transition, all they have to happen, because they do have a past story, I mean they are not complete strangers, they have a family-story behind. And that was incredible to read.

If you like Adult Contemporary Romance, then it might appeal to you, if you also happen to like this kind of plot, then it would be an excellent reading for you. Swoon over it, baby ;)

I read this book a while ago and from what I have read in my notes I liked it from the beginning because books about sexy boys/men who also happen to be good fathers were my weakness at that time, well, it have not had changed a lot, I mean, they are sexy! That is a good reason, I think.

In all this time, I have not read any other book of this author, but she has a many of them. Plus, The Bad Boy's Baby is the third book in the Hope Springs series, yet, I do not know what this series is about.

Anyways, this is an interesting book, I think I enjoyed it specially because there is a specific character I loved, OMG! She was so cuuuteeeee...!!!! I remember that while I was reading it she made me want to have kids, maybe not of my own, but I did want to have kids in my life then. She was the main character for me, because the whole story was like about her, as in she was the little person that put them together. Who? Cam and Emma, they had a singular story, they had a one-night thing and then he was sent into a new mission, so when he is back he finds out about her. Emma has a crush on Cam, and when the opportunity came out she took it. And then it was not only her who Cam left behind. He never saw himself as a dad, and finding out about Zoey caught him by surprise, a very cute, beautiful surprise.

I liked it, and I recommend it if you happen to like this kind of plot. Or maybe you like Military romances, although this does not have a lot of it, but he is a sexy one. However, it was a sexy, cute story with many cute moments to appreciate.

Five years. That’s how long I’ve been gone. Since I left my best friend—the girl I loved—behind.

Five seconds. That’s how long it takes to realize I am completely, utterly, screwed. Because now that I’m back, my childhood crush has turned into so much more.

Rylee has changed. We both have. And now I’m drawn to her in a completely different way. To her smile. Her touch. To reliving old memories and making new ones. To the happiness she’s always given me that I haven’t felt since I left.

But her friends are hell-bent on keeping us apart. My dad is one drink away from destroying both of our lives, and maybe I am, too. It’s only a matter of time before I have to leave again, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it. I never get a choice.

The one choice I can make? Stay away from Rylee. Because if I don’t, I’ll break her heart—and mine—all over again.

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains references to drinking, addiction, and just the right amount of angst. You’ll want to save this tortured hero, while at the same time, not want to change a single thing about him!

You might have already realized of this, but I am a great fan of Entangled Publishing, it has many many books I have already read and others I want to read, and the best of all, it has different genres, so this time I bring to you a Entangled Crush story —a young adult romance.

I really liked this book's cover, it is so beautiful that just it kind of made me want to read it at first. However, the synopsis was the major factor, because I LOVE best friend plus second chance romances, they are always a good story to read, maybe sometimes they are not what I really wanted or expected but at the end I always enjoy a book.

PIECES OF ME AND YOU is a cute story about Chase and Rylee, they were best friends before he disappeared five years ago. So, POMAY tells us about what happens when he is back in town and in Rylee's life. A lot of things can change in a five-year period, one of those things are the feelings, what you might have felt for someone can change after a long time without seeing him or her. Being best friends means you know the other person, and you may know what is best for him or her. So, yep, when Chase realizes that his life is not "good enough" for Rylee to be part of it, he decides to stay away from her, also, because he might have to leave again soon; but come on boy! We girls/women can take our own decisions and even if sometimes they are not right or good we can do it, you know. Okay, it is kind of cute or sexy when they think they are machos and try to boss around about everything, but not all the time please!

Anyways, they were best friends so it is a cute romance, I highly recommend it to you if you like YA and best friends in the same book. When I first read it, I completely fell for it, it has an enjoyable and amazing plot. Erin made an incredible job with this book, and I definitely reading her others books, BTW, this is a standalone story!

Welcome to my #Review for Snowbound Seduction by Melissa Schroeder!

Title: Snowbound Seduction
Author: Melissa Schroeder
Release Date: March 2016
Genres: Contemporary Romance, Select Contemporary

This blizzard is blazing hot...

Trevor MacMillian is the tart and incredibly sexy executive chef who’s made pastry chef Elaine Masterson’s life a living hell. But when she catches him in nothing but a tiny little towel, it’s almost enough to make her forget they’re stranded in a luxurious mountain cabin together...or that she hates him almost as much as she craves him like a sinfully forbidden dessert.

Being alone in a romantic secluded cabin might just kill Trevor outright. If Elaine hates him now, how much will she hate him if she finds out he’s been fantasizing about her full, kissable lips? So Trevor argues with her. Makes her angry— until an intense and unexpected kiss turns their hostility into insatiable hunger. And with this much heat, the snowstorm outside doesn’t stand a chance...

#Excerpt
Prologue
Elaine Masterson had had enough. She stood in the kitchen, the entire staff watching her and Trevor MacMillian. They were waiting to see what she would do.

For six long months, she’d put up with him, his complaints, and his lifestyle. She had always been considered the most professional of chefs. People loved working with her. Trevor did not. And he made sure to nitpick every little mistake he thought she had made. But calling her names went beyond anything he had done before. He had stepped over the line.

“What did you call me?” she asked, her teeth clenched so tight her jaw ached. From the moment they had opened the restaurant, the man had been the bane of her existence. He had quibbled and prodded. He questioned her abilities in the kitchen. Tonight, though, was the last straw. He settled his hands on his hips and took a step closer. Even with the aromatic scents of the kitchen surrounding her, she could smell him—deep, dark, delicious. It teased her senses. That irritated her more than his comment.

“I think you bloody well heard what I said, but I will repeat it for everyone. You are the most uptight and untalented chef I have ever worked with. You wouldn’t know a bloody croissant from a ganache. I wonder on a daily basis how you ever made it out of pastry class.”

Her anger flashed to a full blaze. Never in her life had she ever been so mad…or so hurt. Without thinking, she looked to her left, picked up the whipped cream she had asked for, and upended the bowl over his head.

“Bugger off,” she said, with relish. Satisfaction filled her as she watched him wipe the delicate cream out of his eyes. Elaine knew this was the one moment she might ever see the idiot at a loss for words. Her moment of triumph was cut short when their partner said from behind her, “What the bloody hell is going on in here?”

I read this book a long time ago, and I am writing this review because I have it in my pending issues, so here it is.

Snowbound Seduction is a funny romance story, both characters made of this book an incredible and enjoyable experience, it was an easy read so I would say it is a light worthy read. It is a short book because the plot makes it a short one.

Elaine and Trevor end up in a short "vacation" time, they funny thing about it is that they just feel hate for the other, or at least that is what they say. So as the time goes and they only have each other as company, things star to kind of come out, and as a result things take a very different path where it seems to be just one way even if they do not think so.

As I already said, this is funny, light, cute romance about a very peculiar couple. The plot is really enjoyable so I do not have anything to say about it. And the author has an interesting form to say and describe things.

Here you have a story you might like and maybe read in one sitting! I really recommend it :)

I think being back at reading YA was a great decision, there's no regret at all. This time I have a hot-nerdy YA romance. The Replacement Crush is the second book I've read by Lisa, and OMG, both of them have had that indescribable thing I completely love about YA, maybe it was the right moment to read them or whatever-thing-it-was but they're fascinating. If we focus just on TRC, as I said, a hot-nerdy book with good-drama everywhere, maybe there were moments with a little too much of it, but overall it had the right mix.

Our heroine, Vivian, had a bad-summer-ending when her "summer affair" and long-time crush ended... well, whatever-thing-she-believed/thought-they-had. Viv is a really smart girl but it seems that when it comes to love and falling in love she's not that smart to take and make decisions, and what it's worst, when she has the true-real-thing in front of her... she just denies it. Okay, I get it, she's heartbroken but come on girl! It could have been your once-in-a-lifetime romance and you might have lost it!. And then we have our hot-nerdy, a.k.a. McNerdy + Vespa Guy, Dallas <3 Ay Dios, I definitely added him in my BookBoyfriendsList, It might be true that I kind of fell in love with him due to... things. This guy made the whole book something pretty amazing.

But how is that they got together-not-together? Well, not because of her that's for sure, but when her mother needs help reaching the 21-century at her bookstore, they, as in Viv and McNerdy, don't have no option but know each other. Okay, they met before that, because if you remember what I said at the beginning, she's heartbroken and for some reason she has decided to look for a replacement crush to stop having a broken heart, she thought that with a no-feeling-for guy it might have fixed. But no girl because if you didn't notice true love can’t be strategized. And maybe she being a book blogger -something I loved!- and with all those book out there you've read, one would have thought you may have known before. Plus, all those nerdy moments they shared together were so swoon-worthy.

Anyways, TRC is a funny, cute, hot-nerdy, YA romance that you could love if you like this kind of plot and if you happen to be in search of this kind of book-boyfriend, or just if you like Entangled YA books. I liked the whole book, author's writing and plot were fantastic!

Claire blew Liam away for who she really was, and he wished like hell he knew a way to say that that wouldn’t come across as an insult.

“I don’t trust myself to tell you what I’m feeling,” she said. More than what she’d laid out for him in the truck? Yeah, that was better left unexamined.

“You’re not going after the chainsaw, are you?” He really didn’t want to know, because she was coming at him with purpose. She put her fingertips on his chest and pushed him backward until he landed on the sofa. She must have uncovered and cleaned it, because the drop cloth was gone, and the leather shone. What she apparently didn’t know, however, was that he’d stolen the fluffy stuff from inside one of the cushions for the fire, so when he hit, he went down all the way. Hard.

She laughed—which was the best possible reaction to his pilfering of her sofa innards—and crawled on top of him, straddled him on her knees, and kissed him. And she meant business. Her hands drove through his hair, holding him, keeping him close, as if she needed to hold on to keep him there. Not fucking likely.

He didn’t waste any time sliding his hands under her shirt, lifting the fabric until she finally took the hint and let him drag it over her head. Then she turned her full attention back to his mouth, her sweet little tongue tangled with his. It was a fucking injustice that all her bare skin was wasted on his shirt, so he lost that, too, then dove right back in, earlier trepidation forgotten.

The fire hadn’t been touched in the short time since they’d returned, and the embers did little to heat the place. The cavernous room was cold enough to elicit chills from her that he doubted had anything to do with his kisses, but he resisted the urge to close his mouth on her tightly beaded breasts. Instead, he explored with his hands. She arched against him, whimpering against his lips when he skated his palms along her sides, making her shudder. Loving the way she squirmed against him, he pinched her nipples, both of them, both through her bra, both hard. She gasped and slammed against him, dislodging his grip.

Screw that.

As much as he liked her on top of him, he was done waiting. All the damned thinking he’d done, trying to figure this thing out, trying just as hard to shove it aside because in two days it wouldn’t be a thing anymore, flew like the force of an avalanche hit it. Thinking was overrated.

Having good girl Claire Stevens come onto him was more of a turn on than it should have been, all things considered, but he was tired of considerations.

She wanted him, and he wanted her, and that was enough.

** I RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE OF AN HONEST REVIEW **
Sarah Ballance is a known author for me, I have already read three of her books —the latest three in the Chase Brothers series, and I have liked them all, because... they are swoon-sexy men! Okay, that is not the main reason for my like, but is not it a good one? Anyways, back to Sarah, she has a couple of books, contemporary adult romance with good-looking men.

The 48-hour Hookup is a romance about a couple —who are not a couple— with famous-problems, they are not famous or whole-world-known but they have been there, as in she has had bad luck where it comes to love, and trusting in men, well, being in a relationship in general, and for some reason she just realizes of it when she has made a big decision, as in about-to-marry decision, and being someone known is not a good plus. Someone took a photo while he was working and it got viral, it seems everyone —every woman— has seen it, it is not a bad photo, actually it is drop-dead sexy image, one of his best ones; but having lots and lots of calls at his work, where he works with his brothers, it is not very comfortable. So when they got a new client who lives far from the epicentre of the photo-disaster, he offers himself with no doubt. And when they meet... god, it is one of the best scenes of this book!!

Now, they are isolated from the world, and they just have each other for the next 48-hour more or less, what can you do when you are in a mountain surrounded by snow and there is a sexy man/woman with you? I can think in several thinks, but what DID they do in this situation? OMG. I am just going to say that they had a really really good time.

Because, chemistry is definitely not a problem for them, but they do have problems and things to get clear before take it to the next level.

The 48-hour Hookup is a funny, swoon-sexy, light romance where trust is a big deal. Sarah has made it again for me, I enjoyed it from cover to cover, fantastic. The plot is great, so if you are looking for a worthy-reading give it a try, and enjoy the ride. And of course, I highly recommend it to adult romance fans.

Welcome to my  #RevieTourStop for Just One Week by Alice Gaines!!!

Title: Just One Week
Author: Alice Gaines

"Alice Gaines will tantalize your romance taste buds with a book you can’t put down until the very last page.” NYT bestselling author Jasmine Haynes

Her brother’s best friend is not only the hottest man Michelle Dennis has ever seen, he’s the one man she hopes to avoid after leaving town eight years ago. Of course he’s the one waiting at the airport. Worse, he made sure they’re staying in the same house.

Pro football player Alex Stafford is expecting to pick up his friend’s kid sister, not a full-fledged bombshell. He was planning to apologize for their past, but the feelings he had years ago come roaring back…and this time, there’s no denying them.

Keeping his hands off is a test he’s bound to fail—especially when they’re stuck in close quarters. But falling in love with Michelle, living in her world, isn’t an option for a guy like him. And remembering that will save them both a lot of heartache…

#Excerpt
“Who’s fighting?” Michelle said from the doorway. She wore slacks and a silk blouse. Professional. Alex mentally nailed his feet to the floor to keep from going to her. Creating a scene in front of his parents—and her brother—would only make matters worse. If that was possible.

“No one.” Kyle backed away from Alex but continued to pin him with a glare.
“We hear congratulations are in order,” Dad declared as he rose from his seat and went to pull Michelle into a bear hug. Mom joined him, and even Chase got up and gave Michelle a pat on the shoulder. Alex stood and watched the display of affection. He’d already had the last embrace he’d have from Michelle. Besides, trying to touch her while her irate brother still glowered at him wasn’t a great idea.

“I’m so proud of you, Mickey,” Dad said. “You’re going to do great things.”

Exactly what Alex had said to her in the cottage. She’d flinched a bit then as she’d realized he was telling her to take the job and leave him behind. She took it better from his dad, smiling at him. But sadness remained around her eyes.

“We want to hear from you about how things are going,” his mom added. “Regular updates.”

“You’ll get them,” Michelle said. “I promise.”

Kyle put his arm around her shoulders. The protective big brother. “You ready to go, sis?”

“Not so soon.” Mom hugged Michelle again. “At least, have something to eat.”

“No time.” Michelle embraced Mom for a bit and then stepped back. Mom tried to hide the fact that she was wiping her eyes when she went back to the stove. This visit had started with guilt, and it would end with guilt squared. And Alex deserved every bit of it.

Finally, Michelle gave them all a smile that wouldn’t fool a toddler. “It was a wonderful party. Thank you for inviting me.”

“You come back real soon, honey,” Dad said.

“I will,” Michelle said. Of course, she didn’t mention when.

“Come on, sis, we don’t want to be late,” Kyle said.

Her gaze scanned the room. It briefly fell on Alex, but she made no move toward him. “Well, good-bye.”

No one said a word. They all could have turned to stone. Finally, she turned and left, Kyle right behind her.

Alex still couldn’t move as the two of them went out onto the driveway. Car doors opened and closed with a heavy finality. Then the truck’s engine started, and tires kicked up gravel as they went down the driveway.

Eventually, all three of them looked at him again, and if eyes could really shoot daggers, he’d be sausage about now. Did they think he was so callous that he didn’t care that the woman he loved had just walked away from him forever? Could they honestly think he’d been playing her?

Oh, hell. His parents probably just thought he’d messed up things with their Mickey again, and they’d be right. Chase was angry because he considered his brother a dumbass, which he was. None of that would get Alex through the misery that he’d caused with his own stupidity.

Suddenly, all the air seemed sucked out of the room, and he had to get out of there. “I’m going for a walk.”

“Breakfast’ll be ready soon,” his mother said.

“Don’t wait for me.”

He headed out the same door Michelle had used to leave him, and he crunched along the same gravel drive. When he hit the road, he’d go for a few miles or twenty. When he got back, she’d still be gone, and the cottage would be as empty as his heart.

** I RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE OF AN HONEST REVIEW **

For an not-so-strange reason I'm always up for a sport romance book -any sport. Boys in uniform are something else. Anyways, today, September 13, I brought you all a sexy, sweet, second chance romance. Alice is a new author for me, she has other books, I don't know if they are sport-related but it doesn't matter at the moment because I'm here to talk to you about JUST ONE WEEK, her latest book.

As I said, this is a second chance romance, around eight years ago Michelle, Mickey, walked away from everything she knew, specially from the boy she had a big crush on and who also was one of the main reasons for her to take such decision -don't blame him yet! Now, she's back where everything started, even if she didn't really want to. She knew the time to face what happened would come, after all, she can't avoid it/him forever. His family was as her own for her and her brother, so for them she's disposed to face him at his parent's wedding anniversary celebration. Alex knows that what he said her eight years ago were a bunch of stupid things that went out without filter, after all, he's been regretting it for a long time, and that she hasn't had any contact with him doesn't make things better. However, he has made his mind up, he wants her to forgive him and maybe something else.

Both main characters have been remembering that day, at the same time, they have been making a life apart, one playing a game and the other trying to find solutions in science. Also, both of them have insecurities, maybe not in the same area but they do. Even if it doesn't seem so, they are pretty similar, for starters, they do have feelings for each other, feelings that haven't appear just now but forever ago. Now, they have a week to change everything or to remain as before, at least they seem to know what they want, even if there is a person who has to give them a little push. Oh! I forgot, he is her brother's best friend so yes things have to be made hush-hush so nobody gets hurt.

Overall, I did enjoy this book, it's a sweet, cute, sexy, second chance, light romance, so if you're looking for your next book to read or if you want to add another one to your huge pile then I think you might have to consider this! Writing and plot were great, at first it was a little slow, but then everything started to be right :)
Book: +4 from-crush-to-love stars!
